Conceived by Caleb Mitchell in collaboration with a team of architectural designers, this work is part of The Missing Continent, an ongoing series that reconstructs sites of corruption, violence, and malpractice — here the basement of Comet Ping Pong, the D.C.-based pizzeria that figured centrally in 2016’s “Pizzagate” — from the fragmentary speculations and detective work of conspiracists like Mitchell.
