Other Geometries is an ongoing project with behavioral ecologist Nick Keiser that asks what arachnocentric space might feel like. It derives a taxonomy of seven geometries — overhang, thicket, warren, shaft, loom, alcove, and cliff — from the ways particular spider species use space. These geometries are rendered as spider-scale environments, inhabited by their corresponding species, and are reconstructed, in forthcoming iterations, at human scale for human bodies to navigate.
